Want to be a Victoria's Secret runway model? No, seriously, do you?! You have the chance to join Supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Marisa Miller and many others as they walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which will air on Tuesday, Dec. 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. If you are located in or near New York City, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago beginning Saturday, Oct. 3, then you are eligible to attend the open casting. Contestants can also enter online at VSAllAccess.com and CBS.com from Thursday, October 1 through Saturday, October 24. A Victoria’s Secret panel of experts will narrow the field to 10 finalists and will then hand over the selection to the public, who will have the opportunity to cast their vote to choose the winner in an innovative online video and voting process.

The open casting events are as follows:

New York City, October 3 at Yankee Stadium, 8 – 10 AM·

Miami, October 10 at Gansevoort South Beach, 8 – 10 AM·

Bachelorette Party - Vegas Worthy Outfits

You gotta have the right Vegas outfit when hitting the clubs on your bachelorette party if you wanna skip the lines. For us, that means dresses, dresses, dresses!


Vegas Outfit #1: Sequins
We always love ourselves some sequins, particularly on an understated, yet sky high mini that's sexy without being trampy, like this Haute Hippie dress.



Vegas Outfit #2: Cigarette Girl Dress
If you don't want to dress like a showgirl, perhaps this vintage cigarette girl-inspired dress is more your speed. The black lace and balloon skirt on this Camilla and Marc number are flirty, yet you're still flaunting miles of leg.

On Our Radar: W Santiago

The W hotel's path to total world domination continues with the opening of the W Santiago. This stunning property is a "modern take on the varied Chilean landscape by New York designer Tony Chi and native Chilean designer Sergio Echeverria," according to the press release.

The room in the photo above reminds us of the Standard New York, with its wall-sized windows and prominent bath tub.

One enters the property through a 90 foot wide private, gated entrance with 50-foot trees cultivated from southern Chile with music and sound effects to evoke the feeling of home through the sounds of Chile.


The highlight of the Living Room is a massive “Drum Wall” made of sheepskin for guests to “play.”



On the rooftop, you'll find Red2 One, a Gerber Group bar with breathtaking views of the Andes along with a heated rooftop pool.



The W in Barcelona also recently opened (check back next week for photos). Vieques is next on the W's list--the hotel on the Puerto Rican island is slated to open on November 19.

Las Vegas Nightclubs

Keeping up with the hot spots in Vegas is a tough job if you're planning a bachelorette party. The successful clubs spawn other great clubs and so on. One group may manage a handful of nightclubs at different hotels. If you want table service or just your name on a guest list so you can avoid waiting in lines, a call to one number can often get you on the list at a few clubs. The Light Group is a good example: they manage The Bank, Caramel, Jet and more. The following are groups of sister clubs we're hoping to visit on our trip.

If you like Tryst at the Wynn, try XS at Encore. As Tryst wraps around a waterfall, XS surrounds a pool.



If you love to dance at Pure, hit LAX at Luxor with its grandiose dance floor, which is one of the largest in town.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2010

We nearly spit out our morning coffee when we read in WWD that the Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 show will be streamed on Facebook next Wednesday at 2:30 direct from Paris! How's that for a front row seat? Viewers will be able to access the show for 24 hours afterwards and comment on the clothes as the models walk down the runway.
